Penarth: Local election candidates must submit nomination papers by Tuesday

A list of candidates for the local election should be finalised this week after the deadline for nomination papers ends tomorrow.

This is how the list of county councillors across 24 wards currently stands:

  1. Baruc Ward - 3
  2. Illtyd Ward - 3
  3. Dyfan Ward - 2
  4. Gibbonsdown Ward - 2
  5. Buttrills Ward - 2
  6. Castleland Ward - 2
  7. Court Ward - 2
  8. Cadoc Ward - 4
  9. St.Augustines Ward - 3
  10. Plymouth Ward - 2
  11. Cornerswell Ward - 2
  12. Stanwell Ward - 2
  13. Llandough Ward -1
  14. Sully Ward - 2
  15. Dinas Powys Ward - 4
  16. Wenvoe Ward - 1
  17. St Nicholas & Llancarfan Ward - 1
  18. Peterston-Super-Ely Ward - 1
  19. Rhoose Ward - 3
  20. Cowbridge Ward - 3
  21. Llandow Ward - 1
  22. Llantwit Major Ward - 4
  23. St.Athan Ward - 2
  24. St.Brides Major Ward - 2
If you haven't registered to vote yet, you must do so by clicking here and entering your details by Tuesday, April 14. The deadline for a postal vote is April 19 at 17:00. The poll will take place on Thursday, May 5 Nomination papers can be collected here and should be sent back to [email protected] no later than 16:00 on April 5.
