The deadline for a retail assistant manager position at Cancer Research UK in Penarth is set to close this Friday (August 12).  

As a retail assistant manager, the successful applicant will help the shop manager with maximising profit as well as hitting shop targets. 

The successful applicant will also be responsible for maintaining a high standard of customer service, supervising and managing shop staff members in the shop manager's absence, and making sure the shop is well presented at all times. 

Experience in retail and customer service, in addition to hitting set targets and managing or supervising a team, is essential.  

The retail assistant manager will be expected to work 15 hours a week, on a flexible basis between Monday to Saturday.
