Penarth Esplanade Update: Beachcliff's Fish and Chips Opening Revealed

By The Editor

14th Feb 2020 | Local News

The opening date for the highly anticipated fish and chip restaurant taking its place on Penarth's Esplanade has been revealed.

Beachcliff's Traditional Fish and Chips will open their doors to customers for the first time on the 28th of February.

The new business took some time on their social media to answer locals questions about their new venture and what will be on offer.

We have summarised some of the important information they have shared on their Facebook page below:

• The chips are freshly prepared and cooked on-site.

• There will be a gluten-free option available on the menu (the oil it will be cooked in is GF and a separate cooker will be used to avoid cross-contamination).

  • The site is going to be dog-friendly

• They hope to open from 11:30 am - 10 pm every day.

  • There will be takeaway options but also a dining setting with around 40 seats for stay-in customers.

•  The fish and chips will be wrapped in paper - none of the food they serve will be in plastic containers.

• Bones will be removed from fish but like everything, there can be no guarantee small ones won't have evaded removal.

The restaurant has also announced that they will be revealing their full menu on Monday 17th of February with their brand new website.
