When the lockdown was announced, many businesses across Penarth halted their services for the safety of their staff and customers.

Now, with innovative techniques and more time to practice a few, government-approved, essential businesses are reopening their doors whilst maintaining safe practices.

Pickford's Galley and Bar, on the Esplanade, are restarting their Sunday Lunch takeaway and delivery service. They will be serving from 11:30 am - 4 pm.

They are offering starters, mains and desserts from their menu with a bottle of wine available on the side too. Prices start from £12.50 for one course, £15 for two and £17 for three.

Find out more on their Facebookhere.

Willmore's 1938 have also started up their delivery services again after a hiatus. Click to view their current menu.

They have been busy feeding key workers and frontline NHS staff for the past couple of weeks but have started their public delivery again. You can donate to their Go Fund Me page to help them continue this fantastic project.

Coffi Co is also going to continue with their launch on the 30th of April, bringing takeaway and delivery services to Penarth via their brand new electric bikes.

You can find out more about that in our article here.

With the lockdown set to continue for another 3 weeks at least from today, businesses will be looking to adapt their services. We will continue to support them through these extremely difficult times.
