A member of Penarth Cricket Club died on the morning of Saturday, June 4, it has been confirmed. 

In a statement posted to Twitter on June 5, the club said: "It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of Keith James yesterday morning. 

"He'll be hugely missed by his sons, his grandchildren, sisters, extended family and countless cricket teammates and friends. 

"Rest In Peace Keith." 

It is not known how Mr James died.
