We are delighted to be performing a new piece commissioned from the prize-winning Welsh composer Derri Joseph Lewis, who studies at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. We will also be joined by Sarah Bennington from the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera who makes her debut with us. 8 pm.

Buds and Blooms Fairytale Theme at Morel Court Care Home:

Come along and join the fun with our Fairytale themed sessions for February. Activities will include sensory play, singing, signing, stories, craft, imaginative play, parachute games, instruments, free play, puppets and lots of topic related props. There are lots of new resources to explore and experiment with as a result of our grant from The National Lottery Fund. Buds and Blooms are small, friendly groups held in care homes in Barry on a Wednesday morning and Penarth on a Thursday afternoon. The residents love seeing us and interacting with the children and it is lovely to see the relationships that are forming between the residents, children and parents/carers. Book now to avoid disappointment as spaces will be limited to ten families per session. Sessions cost £2.50 for the first child and £1.25 for each additional sibling or the equivalent of £2 a session for the first child and £1.00 for each additional sibling if paid for in a block of a full month at a time.

Thursday Afternoon Bingo At Sully Sports and Social Club:

Fancy a game of Bingo every Thursday afternoon in a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere? Then make your way to Sully Sports Bowls Club where you can enjoy a few games. No need to be a member to appreciate the large comfy lounge with outstanding views over the Bristol Channel. You can even look round the indoor bowling rink before the game if you like. There are cash prizes plus a licenced bar serving refreshments, teas and coffee. Eyes down at 2:30 pm (One Little Duck, Dirty Gertie) every single Thursday afternoon.
