TODAY'S PENARTH AREA EVENTS:

Aladdin by P.O.D.S at the Paget Rooms:

Penarth's only panto is on at the Paget Rooms from 5th to 8th December. It has everything a Christmas panto needs - the dashing hero Aladdin, the beautiful princess Jasmine, the very wicked Abanazaar, a mischievious Genie and a flying carpet! Spiced up with slapstick comedy, this age old tale remains a firm family favourite. Come and join us at Widow Twankey's Laundry for some oriental fun! Aladdin is on at the Paget Rooms in Penarth. Thursday 5th and Friday 6th December at 7.30pm, Saturday 7th December at 1pm and 5pm, Sunday 8th December at 1pm.

The Keith Little Trio at Penarth Pier Pavilion:

Keith put together this group of experienced professionals creating a sound that extends beyond the traditional and offering a wide range of jazz and swing that is just sheer enjoyment. Led by Keith on piano, the Band also features Gethin Liddington on trumpet and Donnie Joe Sweeney on double bass. Our fabulous guest singer, Jane Williams, will also be performing. From 19:00 - 22:00.

SOAP Fayre at Albert Primary School:

Fayre tokens will once again be 50p each, and all stalls will be priced in token value (except for entry and raffle). As with the Summer Fayre we will be using our custom-made biodegradable tokens. These tokens can be used from one fayre to the next to help support the eco vision of the school and to streamline token sales on the day. We will also have token purchase points at the Fayre itself, but we advise purchasing in advance to avoid queueing on the day.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

''You are the sum total of everything you've ever seen, heard, eaten, smelled, been told, forgot - it's all there. Everything influences each of us, and because of that I try to make sure that my experiences are positive.'' - Maya Angelou
