Join us for our smart phone Speed quiz night EVERY TUESDAY NIGHT FROM 9pm! Entry - £2 per person (£1 to charity, £1 into rolling jackpot). Winning team will grab themselves a £30 gift card. Stay and Play Group at Glyndwr Hall:

This week we're having a reading from local author Natalie Ann Beattie and her dog Buster of her book 'That Dog's Got a Beard'. We welcome everyone including children with disabilities, LLCs, and additional needs, and their families and friends of all abilities to benefit from a warm and nurturing community. Home educated kids welcome too. Drop in session with play activities, sensory music and story workshop. Run by specialists in creative arts, disability, play and education. Refreshments, a cuppa and a warm welcome. £3.50 per child, £1.50 per sibling. New sensory garden open in nicer weather. 10 am - 12pm

Art History Lecture at Penarth Pier Pavilion:

'I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape – the loneliness of it, the dead feeling of winter. Something waits beneath it, the whole story doesn't show' – Andrew Wyeth. Magical, festive, beautiful, harsh, cruel and bleak – this talk will explore the variety of interpretations of this season through the works of Bruegel, Caspar David Friedrich, Monet, and Andrew Wyeth.
