Volunteer drivers are urgently needed to help the East Vale Community Transport charity in Penarth.

Drivers will need to spare a few hours a week to drive an adapted minibus, must be aged between 21 and 70, have two years of driving experience and hold a clean driver's licence.

The role will involve taking groups and individuals to places such as appointments, garden centre visits, vaccinations, and shopping trips.

The charity can be flexible with the number of hours you can volunteer, as well as days and times.

Training and out of pocket expenses will be offered.

If you are interested in becoming an East Vale Community Transport volunteer, call 02920 705138 between Tuesday to Thursday or send an email to [email protected]

East Vale Community Transport is a small Penarth-based charity that provides accessible minibus transport for the community of the eastern Vale.

It has been operating since 1986 with the help of volunteer drivers that have taken groups and individuals shopping, meetings, on expeditions and visits when they might otherwise be unable to get out.
