Vale Council Officers have been patrolling Cogan Skate Park today, following local residents' concerns regarding alleged breaches of COVID-19 legislation.

Vale enforcement said: ''Officers report that all appeared to be in order and will continue to monitor the area as part of their daily patrols.''

Members of the public in the Cogan area have remarked on the number of people they have seen at the park during the lockdown period.

On social media, some had commented on groups of young people playing and mixing in the park.

A local resident told Nub News that they had seen police patrols in the area on Good Friday as well.

The Vale Council vehicle has also been around the Cogan area today with the message to stay home and save lives.
