From the 1st February 2020, changes will be implemented to patient and visitor parking at University Hospital Llandough, Barry Hospital and the University Hospital of Wales.

Parking for patients and visitors for these sites will remain free for the first four hours.

If people are going to be onsite for longer than four hours, they can get additional free parking by entering their car's registration on one of the electronic screens located around the sites.

However, in order to reduce inappropriate parking on hospital sites, the additional time allowed is being changed from four hours to two hours.

There are lots of alternative ways to travel to the hospital sites, such as our free park and ride service to the University Hospital Llandough and University Hospital of Wales, public transport, and active travel like walking or cycling.

These changes will not affect staff parking areas.

If you need further additional time, please contact the parking office by e-mailing [email protected] or calling 029 2074 3629.
