News in brief: Plans to build four-bedroom house overlooking Cogan Train Station submitted

Plans to build a new dwelling on Old Barry Road, Penarth, have been submitted to the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

The planning application, submitted by a Newport-based company called Penarth Investment Limited, is for vacant land overlooking Cogan Train Station.

The proposed new house would be entered from the rear at first-floor level from Old Barry Road, with another floor below street level.

Drawings include an open plan kitchen and dining space, lounge, four bedrooms, two balconies and a garage.
