New play equipment opens at Cosmeston Country Park

The new play equipment at Cosmeston Lakes opened today, and is already a hit with children and parents.
Work began on the upgrades, which is Medieval-themed, in October last year.
After a busy morning at Cosmeston, the new equipment has drawn praise from visitors.
Stacey Channing visisted with her sons aged four and six.
"We've been here since 9am, to kill a few hours this morning.
"They really liked it. There's a big tunnel at the back that you roll down onto artifical grass, which they said was their favourite part."
Sisters Holly Colman and Sophie Wiltshire said their children had been playing all morning.
"We've been saying how it looks really good," said Holly.
"It's about time it was changed really. I remember going there as a kid myself and it hadn't changed at all.
"It's fabulous, they're really enjoying it in there. It's good that it's properly fenced off as well," she said.
Holly's son Zach said the seesaw was his favourite.
"It goes really high," he said.
The Edwards family were also fans of the new play area.
Sons Rupert and Gryff said it was "amazing".
"The castle was my favourite because of the slide," said Gryff.
"I like the obstacle course," said mum Nicky.
"It's a dramatic improvement."
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has invested £240,000 in improving the play area, which is suitable for 2 to 12-year-olds.
"We must ask that families visiting please respect the new equipment and maintain a social distance at all times. We hope you enjoy these fantastic new facilities," said the Council.
