Library welcome for Sarah

SARAH Rees has been warmly welcomed to Dinas Powys Library and Activity Centre. Sarah is the new peripatetic Library covering community libraries across the Vale.
The Dinas Powys Library Trustees met with Sarah. She said her role was primarily to support the libraries and to be the liaison between us and the Vale. She has been working in the library service for 19 years.
Sarah reported that the updating of the IT system was in hand.
Other topics included working with our 70 volunteers and hopefully identifying more activities in the library especially for children.
Trustees felt that it was a very positive meeting. Chair Chris Franks said, "We look forward to the next phase of the work of the library."
