The Vale of Glamorgan Council has received a fresh report of anarchist graffiti in Penarth Marina.

Zig-Zag path is the latest site to be reported, with the slogans "Your fear is their power" and "Antifa Zone" sprayed in typical red aerosol paint.

According to residents, the "new" graffiti was probably painted on the same night as the Baron's Court junction and Cogan roundabout campaign on 29 September.

"It must have been here a couple of weeks - at least since two Saturdays ago," one dog walker who uses the path regularly told Nub News.

The police say they are "building up intelligence on the incident."

According to Sgt Sam Johnson, it is probably "the same person writing the graffiti."

Penarth is no stranger to anarchist graffiti. Resident Laura Seymour has shown Nub News photos dating back to March 2019 of radical, anti-capitalist graffiti (see slider gallery above).

Nub News cannot confirm whether the typography of thw 2019 graffiti matches that of the 29 September campaign, but similar sentiments are expressed.
