Max the Cat Returns Home After Being Trapped in a Narrow Gap

The owners of Max, the cat who got trapped between a brick wall and a garage in Sully, got in touch to update Nub News with her progress.

A social media appeal led to a quick reunion between Max and her family.

She had become caught in a narrow gap between walls and had to be freed by South Wales Fire and Rescue who removed some bricks around her.

Jane said: ''We thought her vet had microchipped her when she was neutered, but I called them first thing this morning and she is now all booked in.

''She hadn't been there all night, as we only just let her out this morning, however, she was obviously very shaken by the whole ordeal.

''She is safely home and slept well overnight in her favourite leather recliner.

''All checks including a blood screen at the vets, which we happily paid for last night, were clear so she only required IV fluids.

''My sweet little max, she's actually my daughter's cat, who lives with us, who was also in tears like me when she saw the wee souls scary photo.''

The community will be glad to hear Max is recovering at home safe and sound.
