A local Facebook community group, Llandough Covid-19 Mutual Aid, is seeking additional volunteers to help with residents who might need help during the coronavirus pandemic.

Local resident Jo Byworth-Morgan set up the Llandough Mutual Aid group for any neighbours that might require a helping hand during the coronavirus.

They are looking for a few more volunteers to cover all of the households in Llandough.

They said: ''We are searching for a few more volunteers to leaflet and be a contact volunteer for these final few areas of Llandough.

''Volunteers should be residents of these areas themselves or very nearby, 18+, not key workers, and not identified as at risk in any way or currently self-isolating.

''Message me or email [email protected] if this is you.''

Many groups across the Vale of Glamorgan and the UK have come together to help those who are socially isolating in their local areas and many of the pages have been popping up.

Volunteers are particularly needed for the following areas:

  • Penlan Road
  • Cogan Court
  • Penlan Rise

• Joseph Parry Close

• Cwrt Dochdwy & Waverley Close
  • Pant-Y-Celyn Road
• Dochdwy Road

• Merrie Harrier & Corbett Road area

You can find updates from the group on their Facebook page.
