The recent fundraising quiz for the library held at Dinas Powys rugby club has been hailed a success.

The quiz was very popular and a good time was had by all.

Chris Franks chair of library Trustees said, "Many thanks to Jan the quizmaster and raffle prize donators including Tesco Dinas Powys.

"A special mention to the rugby club who generously made available their lounge. It is such a good venue.

"The library has to raise its own funds to keep the doors open. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer please let us know. 02920 512556"
