Thanks have been expressed to all who supported the Dinas Powys library fayre.

There was a capacity range of stalls including cakes, jams, Christmas decorations, Guess the weight of the marrow, hand made bags, flower decorations, gifts and woollen goods.

The Baptists organised a Wellbeing stall. There was also the opportunity to order 'Swags and Table Arrangements.

The library is self-financing and has to raise funds to keep the lights on and the doors open.

Chair of trustees Chris Franks said it was wonderful to see the support from the public.

He said: "We want to expand our activities in the library and encourage even more people into the building."
