Community is one of the core values of Nub News - it's at the heart of everything we do. That's why we're supporting local businesses and promoting the 'shop local' message in the run up to Christmas.

Local retailers are keen to encourage customers back to the high street during what is normally one of the busiest periods of the year.

To help traders get back on their feet, Penarth Nub News is launching a virtual Christmas market - a place where local traders can share details of their festive stock, menus, special offers and deals, opening times, etc.

This will be regularly updated and shared on our website, Facebook and Twitter pages. And the best part? It's completely FREE to take part!

Simply email the name of your business, a short description of what you're offering this festive season and website link (if applicable) to [email protected] or call 07900416263 and we'll add it to our virtual Christmas market.

Don't forget to mention any online services you may be offering, especially for those who are still self-isolating or may still feel uncomfortable visiting the high street in person.

The virtual Christmas market will be going live on our website on Wednesday, December 2 - so get in touch to make sure your business is included!

All businesses taking part will also be automatically added to the Penarth Nub News Local List - a free directory of local businesses which remains on our website permanently.

If you have a festive event coming up, don't forget to add it to the Penarth Nub News website - simply visit our What's On page and click the black 'Nub It' button to enter the event details - all for FREE. It's just another way we're supporting the Penarth community!
