A Sully resident, who wishes to remain anonymous, is selling handmade Christmas tree decorations to raise funds for a local community group.

The six-inch decorations are carved from wood to form the words "Sully Village Hub", the popular community Facebook page through which sale has been organised.

All proceeds will go towards funding projects organised by the the SVG (Sully Village Group), an affiliated local volunteer group.

The group aims to foster community spirit in the village through holding various community events and supporting charitable endeavours.

They organise beach cleans, decorate a community garden and hold frequent fundraisers.

Hannah Bevmoh, who chairs the group, says: "We are so touched by this lovely idea.

"A very generous member who wishes to remain anonymous has made these decorations in special memory of a very strange year where on the hub we came together and supported one another."

The decorations cost £2.50 and come unpainted, allowing buyers to paint them in whatever style they choose.

Order yours by messaging Han Bevmoh via the Sully Village Hub Facebook page.
