Penarth Esplanade will be closed to traffic next week so the Vale of Glamorgan Council can resurface the road.

From Monday 22 February to Friday 26 February, the Esplanade will be shut off from the junction of Marine Parade to the junction of Bridgeman Road.

The whole of Cliff Road, infamous for it's cracked and potholed surface, will also be closed.

Work will commence daily at 8:00am and finish at 5:00pm.

Meanwhile, a line of new metal poles have have been installed along the seafront, presumably to display signage for the new parking restrictions.

Information about the new parking restrictions can be found HERE.
