Emergency Works on Plassey Street Leads to Road Closure

The Vale Council have announced that Plassey Street will have to remain closed this evening for emergency works.
They said: ''Plassey Street will remain closed this evening, with two-way temporary traffic lights in place overnight on Windsor Road so that emergency works can be undertaken safely.''
Vale of Glamorgan Council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
This news comes as congestion has become problematic for Penarth commuters with the works taking place around the Windsor Road/ Plassey Street roundabout.
