Doggy Friendly Business? Join Paws in the Vale

The council are asking dog-friendly businesses or those considering getting involved to join their Paws in the Vale initiative.

If your business is dog-friendly you are invited to join an initiative that promotes the Vale as a doggy friendly destination for visitors.

The 'Paws in the Vale' pilot found:

  • 82% said the public recognised the sticker
• 33% of participants stated that their customer/visitor numbers increased

• 33% participants stated that their business income increased

• 60% of the public are more likely to visit a place if its dog friendly

• 71% of the public thought being dog friendly was good for business

If your business is doggy friendly, and you would like a listing on the 'Paws in the Vale' pages on Visit the Vale website, please follow the link to the survey by clicking the red button below and provide details about your doggy friendly business.

The council will then contact you to confirm details.
