After a very successful campaign of fundraising for local community projects, the recent fundraising venture of the 'Dinas Powys WI Calendar Girls 'was a phenomenal success.

As a result of the wonderful sales achieved, Dinas Powys WI were very proud to able to present a cheque of £6,640 to Breast Care Wales, and an additional £2,000 to Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern who do such amazing work in the local community.

A statement says: "As a membership DPWI also recognise that successful fundraising would have not been achievable without the support of the local community and our many sponsors who were so generous to our chosen charities.

"Looking forward to 2025 it is the aim of DPWI to continue this success by fundraising for other local projects and charities in our area that require our support."
