The local hero award for an organisation has gone to Gwyl Gerdd Dinas Powys Music Festival. The music festival has just completed its 26th season and has included a huge range of musical types.
This year the programme included a Tom Jones Tribute, Pontarddulais Male Choir, an under 5 Pre-School event and local cabaret group Forte.
The annual award was marked at the Community Council AGM.
Congratulations to all involved in the festival which is a show case for Welsh culture and talent.
