There was a big turnout for the launch of the W.I.S.E (Walk In Safer Environments) campaign in Penarth last night (Friday, 25 November).

At present the campaign is focusing on the pathway at the back of Eastbrook Railway Station, following an assault there last week.

The land is owned by United Welsh and Plaid Cllr Malcolm Phillips will be meeting with representatives this coming week.

Residents at the first gathering marked the event by lighting the start of the pathway to show the difference between this and the darkness of the path behind.
