Boy faces court following arson attack at Penarth boutique

A 15-year-old boy will appear before magistrates tomorrow charged with starting the fire that cused serious damage to a Penarth busines earlier this year.

The boy, who cannot be named becasue of his age, is accused of causing the fire at The Queen B Boutique on Stanwell Road on 19 August.

Damage caused by the fire was estimated to be in excess of £100,000.

Despite the best efforts of the fire service, the shop suffered substantial damage and much of the boutique's stock was lost or affected by the flames and smoke.
