Happy wanderer: The backstreets

By Guest

23rd Feb 2021 | Local News

Avoiding the busy 'lockdown walk' routes, I have been discovering some of the back streets and lanes never seen before.

One fascinating lane is Sully Terrace Lane, between Sully Terrace on the railway path, and Plymouth Road. It is a hotch potch of garages, outbuildings, businesses, dwellings and delapidated ruins.

Some were obviously coach houses for the big Plymouth Rd houses, others may have been served by the railway.

This one in the photo caught my eye; does anyone know what business it was?
