Penarth residents Stephen Payne and Phil Nedin will be presenting a lively evening of poetry and music in the town next month.

Stephen, a regular performer at the Penarth Acoustic Club, is a poet and Professor Emeritus at the University of Bath and he will be reading from his second collection, The Windmill Proof.

Phil was instrumental in setting up the Acoustic Club, which ran for six years until the covid lockdown in 2020. He enjoys singing songs that have interesting lyrical content (mainly older tunes by UK and US songwriters).

They will be performing at All Saints Lesser Hall, Victoria Square on Tuesday, 13 September at 7.30pm (doors open 7pm).

Tickets are £5 and include a discount on book purchases, and can be booked via this link.
