A Victorian mansion which featured in the BBC series "Sherlock" has been listed on Zoopla.

If you have a meagre £1.85 million lying around, the three-story, five bathroom and six bedroom dwelling could be yours.

It will come as no surprise to Penarthians that the property is situated on Marine Parade, perhaps the seaside town's most affluent road.

The property, chosen by the BBC for its occasionally gothic interior and banqueting hall, will be familiar to fans of the BAFTA-winning drama as the less-than-humble abode of Mycroft Holmes - the famous detective's estranged brother.

But the property's appeal extends far beyond this televisual gimmick. It is a bright and beautifully decorated home of mammoth bath tubs, unique stain glass features and dazzling chandeliers.
