DO you want to be a star? Penarth-based cabaret production company Quill & Pearl Presents are on the hunt for talented local performers in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The very best will receive a coveted paid spot performing alongside the all-star cast of The Pearl Revue, a fully professional comedy variety show, on February 28 2026 at the Dinas Powys Parish Hall.

The chosen performer will be joined on the night by some of the best cabaret performers from around the UK.

These include sensational magic and circus star DARREN CAMPBELL, stunning, sultry burlesque dancer DONNA DIVINE, comedy quirksters KITSCH N SYNC, the gorgeous local drag queen VENUS FLYTRAP, plus extra special pre-show entertainment by THE ROCK CHOIR! The evening will be hosted by the award-winning cabaret performer Oola Pearl, who will be on hand to give her support and advice to this next generation of talent.

As this opportunity is designed to showcase and support local performers, all applicants must be based in or connected to the Vale of Glamorgan, with priority given to those in Dinas Powys or the surrounding area.

Applicants must be 18 or over by 4 February 2026. No fire acts or aerial performances will be considered due to health and safety restrictions.
