Payroll Officer - Hybrid (1-2 days a week) - Cardiff

Location: St. Mellons (1-2 days in office per week)Contract: 4-month Temp (Potential Temp-to-Perm)Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours, Hybrid/Flexi-timeStart: ASAPSalary: CompetitiveAre you an experienced payroll professional used to handling multiple payrolls? Looking for a short-term role with long-term potential?We're working with a busy payroll team supporting pensioner payrolls for 80 different clients. You'll join a friendly team of 5-6 payroll officers to help pay people their pensions. The Role:

  • Run monthly payrolls for pensioners across a large client base
  • Handle all prep and calculations at the start of the month
  • No auto-enrolment to worry about - it's straightforward payroll.
  • Liaise with internal teams and ensure accurate and timely payments
  • Based 1-2 days a week in the office (St. Mellons) - rest from home
  • Must be a driver (free parking available)
  • About You:
  • Proven experience running multiple payrolls (ideally across clients)
  • Confident handling month-start payroll prep
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
  • Available to start ASAP and happy with hybrid working
