Assistant Accountant - Cardiff

One of South Wales' leading event organisations is on the lookout for a detail-driven Assistant Accountant to join their fast-growing finance team. They offer a vibrant and dynamic environment with fantastic career potential.This is a brilliant temp-to-perm opportunity where finance meets creativity-and no two days feel the same. Location: Cardiff - Hybrid working (4 days in office, 1 from home) Hours: Full-time 40 hours/week Salary: up to £35,000 Contract: Temp-to-permWhat You'll Be Doing

  • Manage payroll, purchase orders, monthly management accounts, and company ledgers
  • Complete regular financial reporting and assist with budgeting tasks
  • Process expenses, reconcile transactions, and maintain compliance with budget targets
  • Collaborate with senior finance staff and occasionally support events
  • Track debtors/creditors, post documents accurately, and help tidy up reporting methods
  • What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a finance support role
  • A proactive mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Part-qualified (preferred), with ambition to grow
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Bonus: Familiarity with Xero or live events experience
