Young Musicians Showcase Concert
Violin, Cello, Piano
Join us for an evening of exceptional performances by talented young musicians. This concert is a wonderful opportunity to experience their extraordinary skill.
FREE ENTRY
The performance will last approximately two hours, with a brief interval. Please note, as this is an evening event, no refreshments will be served.

- Ysaÿe: Sonata No.3 "Ballade"
Each piece showcases a range of styles, from Classical to modern, offering a captivating listening experience.
Concert Performers
Nick Francis, Violin
Nick developed a passion for the violin at an early age and spent his teenage years performing with various youth orchestras. Currently, he is in his second year at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he studies on a scholarship. Though his primary focus is Classical Violin, Nick enjoys exploring other genres, including jazz and folk, adding versatility to his musical repertoire.
Rhys Herbert, Cello
Born in South Wales, Rhys is a Master's student at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, studying Orchestral Conducting with David Jones and Cello with Alice Neary. He previously studied at the Purcell School for Young Musicians. As a cellist, Rhys has participated in masterclasses with renowned musicians and won several awards, including the Concerto Competition and Solo Bach Prize. He has performed as a soloist with the RWCMD Symphony Orchestra and at prestigious venues like Wigmore Hall.
Enoch Wong, Piano
Enoch is a passionate pianist with a strong love for Haydn, Beethoven, and chamber music. He has participated in renowned music courses and studied under Robin Green for three years, receiving additional guidance from several respected musicians. Enoch aspires to share and communicate his love for music on renowned stages around the world.
