Thursday 5 February
Edward Burne-Jones is associated with the later phase of the Pre-Raphaelite movement and was the only Pre-Raphaelite artist to have achieved international fame.
He turned away from Victorian industrial progress and instead painted beautiful, melancholic and highly romantic works inspired by Arthurian legend, mythology, and dream-worlds.
This talk will look at his most enchanting masterpieces and explore why his works are now some of the most cherished in Britain.
Following the talk, please stay for tea and cake, served in the Pavilion's beautiful Gallery.
