Based on an almost unbelievable true story, Roofman follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), an Army veteran and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald's restaurants by cutting through their roofs — a spree that earns him the nickname "Roofman."

After a daring prison escape, Manchester hides inside a Toys "R" Us, secretly living there for six months while plotting his next move.
