"To judge monsters, you must first understand them."
Nuremberg chronicles the landmark trials held by the Allied Forces to prosecute the leaders of the defeated Nazi regime. At the centre of the story is American psychiatrist Dr. Douglas Kelley, assigned to determine whether the captured Nazi officials are mentally fit to stand trial for their war crimes.
Among these prisoners is Hermann Göring, Hitler's former deputy and the highest-ranking Nazi still alive. What begins as a standard psychological evaluation quickly becomes a dangerous battle of wits. Göring proves charismatic, manipulative, and disturbingly self-assured, forcing Kelley to question whether true evil can exist without madness.
As Kelley delves deeper into the minds of Göring and the other defendants, he finds himself drawn into a psychological struggle that challenges his understanding of morality, responsibility, and human nature. Meanwhile, the Allied prosecutors prepare for one of the most significant legal proceedings in history: holding the architects of the Third Reich accountable.
Blending courtroom drama with psychological thriller elements, Nuremberg explores both the pursuit of justice and the emotional toll on those who must confront the darkest aspects of humanity.
