Penarth picks up a number of acknowledgements from the Green Flag Awards.
Alexandra Park and Windsor Gardens, Victoria Park and Belle Vue have all been recognised by Keep Wales Tidy.
The car park at the University Hospital Llandough will be undergoing essential repairs from July through to August.
Monday 22nd July will also see the start of essential remedial repairs to the multi-storey car park at UHL, which is expected to take five weeks.
A new Park and Ride service will be launched on later this month between the University Hospital Llandough and the sports village.
The decision comes from additional car parking needs at University Hospital Llandough as well as the proven success of the Park and Ride service in other hospitals.
