Penarth RNLI were tasked with assisting Weston RNLI when two yachts got into difficulties over the weekend.
It was a blustery day in the Bristol Channel when, at high tide, a yacht sailing near Birnbeck Island suffered steering failure at the north end Weston Bay.
Drugs and cash have been seized by police following multiple warrants in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Warrants were executed at two addresses in Penarth and three addresses in Barry and on July 18th and 19th.
WHILE many will be looking forward to seeing the new remake of Disney classic The Lion King hitting cinemas this week, audiences in Penarth got something event better....

The trail will be open in aid of The Children's Society and will run on the weekend of the 27th-28th July.
