A Vale councillor has submitted a 'request for consideration' regarding museum provision in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Cllr Dr Ian Johnson has outlined his interest in seeing a museum supported by the local authority.

The new Kip McGrath Penarth Tuition Centre opens at 4 Herbert Terrace Penarth on Wednesday, January 29th.

Penarth born rugby player, Louis Rees-Zammit, has had his contract with Gloucester Rugby extended, as the youngster steps up to the senior squad on a long-term deal.

Rees-Zammit, who came through the Gloucester Rugby Academy, made his debut for the senior squad last season when he was part of the team selected for the West Country derby against Bath.

Penarth Town Council will be screening all 5 Wales fixtures for 2020 Six Nations, including the full day of Super Saturday in the historic Paget Rooms.

The Paget Rooms is on the list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest and is now a Grade II listed building.

The historical footbridge at Cogan train station has reached completion and Network Rail have released images of the renovations.

There were no lie-ins for the crew from Penarth RNLI this morning after they were tasked with helping out a broken-down boat today.

Shortly before 9 am this morning, Penarth's RNLI Atlantic lifeboat was launched to assist a broken down fishing boat approximately two nautical miles east of Cardiff.
