Penarth Town Council will be screening all 5 Wales fixtures for 2020 Six Nations, including the full day of Super Saturday in the historic Paget Rooms.

The Paget Rooms is on the list of buildings of special architectural or historic interest and is now a Grade II listed building.

The historical footbridge at Cogan train station has reached completion and Network Rail have released images of the renovations.

Cogan's Grade II listed bridge has been undergoing work for the past year.

There were no lie-ins for the crew from Penarth RNLI this morning after they were tasked with helping out a broken-down boat today.

Shortly before 9 am this morning, Penarth's RNLI Atlantic lifeboat was launched to assist a broken down fishing boat approximately two nautical miles east of Cardiff.

A scheme, created on social media, called localanuary is encouraging people to focus on shopping locally this month.

The Welsh Government has agreed to extend the High Street and Retail Rates Relief scheme for an additional year which is aimed to help small and medium-sized businesses and will hopefully bolster some business in the Penarth area.

Penarth is fortunate to have an array of independent retailers throughout the high street but it has still faced issues maintaining shops and stores.
