A fully stocked van delivering eggs to Penarth was stolen yesterday from Westbourne Road.
Whilst the driver was carrying out a delivery an individual got into the van and drove away with all the produce.
The Farmers' Market, which is held in Westbourne School in Penarth every fortnight, will be coming to a close for 2020.
Myfanwy Edwards, the organiser of the markets, sites the unsustainable nature of the market in the town as the reason behind its closure.
Due to essential maintenance works, Cardiff Bay Barrage will be closed to the public on Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th November between 08:30am and 5:00pm.
The walkway will be open from the Bay side as far as the Fish Pass – but there will be no access to and from the Penarth side.

Engineering work is taking place from the 23rd to 24th of November in the Cardiff Central area which will result in the closing and/ or disruption of some rail lines over the weekend.
The Vale of Glamorgan council planning committee has approved plans for Charlotte Church to turn part of her home in Dinas Powys into a school for 20 children at a meeting of committee today.
Jonny Powell, Ms Church's husband, submitted a planning application which outlines the temporary change of a detached residential/ studio annex to a non-fee-paying school for pupils aged between 10 and 12 years old until the 31st of July 2020.
