Renovation will be taking place at the Old Penarthian's rugby gym

Shapewell Gym is opening a new branch in an old rugby gym in Penarth at the start 2020.

The Gym will open in the Old Penarthians Rugby Club, which has recently undergone renovations for the changing facilities, cafe/bar area and the upcoming transformation of the Gym.

A PENARTH man pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled drug when he appeared at Cardiff Magistrates' Court recently - and that saved him having to carry out 20 hours of unpaid community service.

Ben Marks, 27, of Cardigan House, Salisbury Close, admitted being in possession of a quantity of cannabis when searched at Lapwing Close in the town on April 8 this year.

Spectrum Singers is a Penarth-based chamber choir. They are a mixed SATB (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) choir of experienced choristers from around Cardiff and the Vale numbering just 16 voices.
