BRITISH Airways' last Boeing 747 has flown from Cardiff Airport to eCube Solutions at Bro Tathan business park in St Athan today, where it will be preserved.
The airline announced in July that all 31 of its remaining Boeing 747 aircrafts had been decommissioned because of the impact of Coronavirus.

COUNCIL, police and health chiefs have issued a joint statement expressing "extreme concern" over the sharply increasing number of Coronavirus cases in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff.
They warned the region is facing a record high number of cases, in what could soon be "the worst period of the pandemic".
