Volunteers wanted as cancer charity seeks to boost funds in build-up to Christmas. Could you help?

Supporters of Marie Curie Cardiff and Vale Hospice (Holme Towers) will be fundraising in Penarth and beyond over the coming weeks and are hoping to recruit volunteers to help them.

Marie Curie Penarth will be holding bucket collections in the town and are looking for kind-hearted local folk to donate a couple of hours during October, November and December.

Collections will be taking place at Tesco Penarth - Saturday, 22 October 1pm-3pm and Sunday, 23 October 12noon to 2pm or 2pm to 4pm.

And also at the Penarth Town Centre Christmas Lights -on Sunday, 20 November when collectiong sessions are from 1pm to 3pm or 3pm to 5pm

Finally they will be hosting a collection at Morrisons in Cardiff Bay on Sunday, 4 December between 12noon and 2pm and 2pm to 4pm

Marie Curie depends on voluntary donations to continue their vital work providing care and support to those facing dying, death and bereavement across the Vale, in the community and at the Hospice (Holme Towers) on Bridgeman Road.
