The owner of a fragrance shop on Cornerswell Road in Penarth has created a limited edition candle in celebration of Pride Month.
Craig Parker Trott, 49, the founder, alchemist and owner of Apothecary64, has partnered with Pride Cymru with the release of the candle and 100% of profits will go to the organisation, which will be hosting its annual Pride Cymru's Big Weekend event in Cardiff on August 27-28.
Mr Parker Trott told Penarth Nub News: "I approached Pride Cymru back in January about wanting to do the partnership and my idea for the candle, which they loved, and I have worked closely with them right up to the launch.
"Being a business owner, it's important for me to give back to the community. That's why I wanted to create a charity candle.
"Pride Cymru was at the forefront of mind being a gay man; Pride events are important to highlight equality and acceptance of diversity within the community."
The fragrance is described as uplifting, reflective and a subtle nod to summer with scents of orange blossom, green stems, and mandarin with a base of vanilla and patchouli.
Apothecary64' shop window and signage have also been decorated to celebrate Pride month. "I obviously want as much support for the candle as possible, hence the window and the shop front signage," said Mr Parker Trott.
"It's really bright and since it's all been decorated, customers and passers-by have been saying how much they're loving it.
"But aside from the candle and the shop, I'd like people to take away the message of Pride: equality and acceptance for everyone is awesome."
Apothecary64 will also be releasing some new summer fragrances in July.
The Pride candle is available to buy in-store or click here to shop online.
