Tree festival returns

Local News by Nub News Reporter 1st Dec 2025

PENARTH Christmas Tree Festival returns to St Augustine's Church, in the Penarth Ministry Area, over the weekend of December 5th - 7th. Admission is £4.00 for adults, children free.

The festival will be opened by the Town Mayor at 6pm on Friday December 5th (open until 9pm).

It continues on December 6th (11am - 5pm) and December 7th (12 noon - 5pm).

Almost 50 trees will be on display and you can expect an imaginative display of creativity and wit. As you wander around admiring the trees, a variety of local music groups will be providing seasonal entertainment.

Refreshments and home-made produce will be available in the church hall all weekend.

The festival always supports three charities, one global, one national and one local.

The nominated charities this year are: Unicef, The Alzheimers Society and The Huggard Centre.
