TRAFFIC: Broken down car blocking Esplanade removed

A car that seemed to have a problem with its front wheel has now been removed from the Esplanade a couple of hours after initially blocking traffic.
An onlooker enjoying the seaside sunshine commented:
"Traffic has been blocked and those who had already began to drive down the road had to turn back... It has taken the AA a while to clear the road [the incident was first reported at 11:30 AM] but it's just about to drive away now [1:50 PM]."
