Town Mayor opens Cliff Walk Art Exhibition

8th Jul 2019 | Local News

The Town Mayor, Cllr. Angela Thomas began the Penarth Summer Festival season by officially opening the Cliff Walk open air art exhibition.

The much-loved, free of charge exhibition allows visitors to come across different forms of art outdoors at our wonderful coastline.

The Mayor expressed thanks to those artists returning, along with a special welcome for new artists.

Particular thanks are due to the co-ordinator, Jilly Hicks.

The show has been running annually for a number of years, something that many Penarthians look forward to and which delights visitors to the seafront.

Most works on display are for sale and artists are always present to discuss work with visitors.

Thanks are also due to the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

The exhibition runs along Cliff Walk from 12pm until 7pm daily, until July 14th.
